Curtis is a big presence within the band, and since he lacks any real skill on the guitar they gave him a microphone and allowed him to sing. This is alright considering he’s spent the last 30 years studying voice. He has a Master of Music degree and still warbles the occasional operatic aria when he's certain no one is listening. His day job allows him to pursue his two big passions at night... theatre and music. Oh, and he likes peanut butter... a lot.
Scott is the glue that holds the band together. He also is the one with the rehearsal space and the beer fridge. Scott has played in bands across much of Canada from Yellowknife to the wilds of Ontario. He splits his retirement hours playing in a couple of bands, and travelling the world. Scott's nickname is 'the Hammer' mostly for his skill in building decks.
Terry is a man of mystery. An enigma, wrapped in a conundrum, wrapped in a puzzle. His 50+ years of harp experience bring the Mad Dog Blues Band its unique sound and style. Terry is a man of profound wisdom and life experience; he's also the only band member who consistantly gets the groupie action at the band's gigs.
Jim is a lead guitar player stuck in a bass players body. Jim's youthful energy keeps the band working hard and living large. It also helps that Jim is mechanically inclined enough to keep all of the band vehicles running. Jim splits his band duties between laying down sweet bass lines and taking over as lead guitar player with a fiery vengance. Jim's other passion is all things VW.
Dean is the hardest working man in the band. Not only holding the rhythm section of the band togther like a seasoned pro, he also keeps all the egos working like a well oiled (or beered) machine. Dean is an essential part of the band, since he's the only one who knows how to start 90% of the band's songs. His only vice is an inability to stop himself from getting involved in the schemes and plans of those around him, whether he likes it or not.
Tim likes poetry... we just can't put it on a publically accessible website. Tim has spent most of his life with a guitar in his hand and a song in his heart. When not playing hot lead licks in the band, Tim spends his time telling stories of past days of glory and getting new tatoos. Tim will happily expound upon his love of the guitar, his love of the ladies and his love of bad jokes.
